Yes!  I offer 15-minute phone consultations for free. This gives you a chance to learn about how I work and decide if I am a good fit for you. This also gives me a chance to learn more about your needs and determine if I can meet them. If I am not the right fit for you, I will do my best to provide you with an appropriate referral to another therapist.

The Therapy Process

In our first session we will review informed consent and you will have a chance to ask any questions you have. From there I will ask you to provide me with background information, the problem that has brought you to therapy, your goals for therapy, and anything else you would like me to know about you! You are always welcome to ask me questions too.

Please tell me! Therapy only works if we collaborate. I welcome your feedback and will work with you to find a new direction for therapy. If we can’t find a solution that works for you, I will help you find another therapist who might be a better fit for your needs.
